Trey almost getting kicked out of school.

Ok guys I have been the worse blogger ever. It has been forever. So I am going to try to catch up on what has been going on.

I don't remember the day but I picked Trey up from school and I thought it was very odd that he just came running to the car and hurried and got in. Usually he waits for me to drive up to where the teacher is, but not this day. So I was getting ready to pull off and his teacher came running in the middle of the road to stop me. So I stopped and rolled the window down and she proceeded to tell me that Trey got in trouble at school and he is on his third strike. I asked what he did exactly, she said that he punched a kid in the privates. I know this is bad, but I was really just laughing under my breathe because I just thought it is boys being boys. So she told me that the next time he does something like this he will be kicked out of school. That really caught my attention and really knew how serious this was. His teacher just has to go by the school rules, which I respect but she knew it was a little harsh since he is only in kindergarten. His teacher raised 5 boys of her own. So we got home and everything fun was taken away from him and he had to call his dad and let him know what has happened. So after that long emotional phone call, I sat him down and had a little chat with him, I told him if he doesn't cool it, I will go to school with him and hold his hand all day long if I have too. He thought that would be embarrassing if his mom had to hold his hand in school.
It was really funny when his dad got home from work he was hiding from him so he didn't have to talk to him or even see him. Finally Scott asked him to come talk to him. Scott was pretty harsh, he told him if he gets kicked out of school the only other option is boarding school. Trey didn't know what boarding school is so Scott explained to him that we would have to send him away and only come home on holidays.
So I talked to his teacher the other day and asked how he has been in school. She started laughing and asked what we did to him, because now he is the best behaved kid she has in the class. I was really glad to hear that. So I little chats with him helped. That is how our month started out.

Trey on the new president

So the day the president was sworn in Trey had school so they had it on all day so the kids were able the witness the moment. So was so excited to tell me all about the president and how cool it was to watch with all those people. But he was very confused and he asked me why they didn't dunk him under the water. I asked him what?? I don't get what you mean. He said well he put his arm up in the air and had his hand on the bible so why didn't they dunk him in the water. It took me a minute or two to catch on but I finally did. I started laughing and told him they swore him in as president not baptizing him. He is the funniest kid. You just never know what he is going to say next.

Masen's First Day of Speech/Preschool

Today was Masen's first day of speech/preschool. He was so excited to go to school he woke up around 6:00am and I did make him go bad to bed even though I was up with CJ. So he went back to bed and got back up 45 minutes later and asked "school?" I told him not for awhile.

After we took Trey to school, Masen cleaned his room so it would be nice and clean for when he got home from school. Then we got his clothes on and his hair combed. Then we found his book bag to take with him.
We headed to the bus stop at the end of our road. We had to wait for a few minutes before the bus got there. Masen was so excited when he saw the bus coming he started giggle and smiling really big. We got out and I walked him up to the bus.

He just walked right on like he has did it million times before. I really wanted to get a picture of him on the bus so we had to get him out of his seat so I could get a picture of him and the morning bus driver. He was the only one on the bus. He sat right next to the window he looked so big sitting there on the bus. He waved as the bus took him away.
I went and picked him up at the bus stop at 2:00 and the bus driver said he was an angel and wished she had ten more just like him. I was really worried about him on the bus because I didn't know if he would get on and stay sitting or if he would get up and run around. But thankfully he didn't.
Later that day his teacher Rayma McCarrel called and let me know how his first day of school went. She said he was really good. He listened very well, and joined in every activity they had for him. She said he acted like he has been going just as long as the rest of the kids there. I really couldn't believe my 2 boys are in school already. It just doesn't seem real yet. But I know preschool/speech school will be really good for Masen.

New Years Eve

On new year's eve day we didn't do a whole lot because Scott had to work and Trey and Masen were in Manila. They went up there to a kids New Year's Eve party at their Aunt Niki's house. So CJ and I stayed home and got the house cleaned which stayed clean all day long. That night Scott and I took CJ to my mom and dad's house where they kept CJ all night for us. Then we went pot bowling with Wade, Britney, Shayla Wilson, Cody Wilkens, Floyd, Peggy, Scott Slaugh and Craig McCarrell. It was such a fun group to go with. At the New Year's Pot Bowling they had door prizes you could win and strike tickets. But of course as unlucky as Scott and I are we didn't win anything. We got finished bowling around 1:00am and then went home.
